The harder question arrives about ten seconds later. Nearly 11.21 lakh candidates qualified, 19 crossed 700 marks, and 138 reached 690 or above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The context matters. The original <a href=\"https:\/\/neet.nta.nic.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NEET UG 2026<\/a> paper was held on 9 May 2026 and cancelled three days later following allegations of a paper leak, a matter the Central Bureau of Investigation is now investigating. The re-examination was conducted on 21 June 2026. For OBC, SC and ST it is the 40th percentile, or 212 to 177 marks. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities have separately prescribed criteria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One point trips up thousands of students every year, so it is worth stating plainly. The qualifying cut-off only decides whether your name enters the merit list. It does not get you a seat. Admission cut-offs are published separately as opening and closing ranks after each counselling round, and they sit far higher.
